Montblanc synonym with luxury fountain pins and expanded his portfolio around clocks in 1997, with the aesthetics inspired by the famous Meisterstein pens. Montblanc intended the observation of the certificates from watchmakers and acquired the legendary Minerva Manufaktur in 2007 and published the Nicolas RieeusSec chronograph. The Nicolas Rieeussec was driven with the first in -house movement of the brand. Today the brand releases another chronograph of Nicolas RieususSec, which strengthens the Paris roots of the world's first chronograph.
Although Nicolas Mathieu RieususSec did not invent the chronograph, his invention was the literal translation of the term chronograph, which was derived from the Greek words of Chronos (ie time) and graphos (for writing or recording). Rieeussec's timekeeper was put to the test on September 1, 1821 on the Champ de Mars racing route in Paris and was equipped with a solid NIB that would release a drop in ink on the two rotating points and 60 seconds to take the exact times of horses that cross the finish line. RieeusSec of the Academy of Sciences was celebrated as the creator of the Inking chronograph.
The latest Star Legacy Nicolas RieususSec Chronograph, which was presented in a large 43 mm pebble-shaped steel cover with a height of 15 mm, has the characteristic corrugated crown with the Montblanc star logo and the individual pusher at 8 a.m. and reset the functions of the chronograph. On this page it is identical to earlier editions of this unusual watch.
The novelty is the gray-green color, which was selected for the dial with the pretty Clous de Paris motif, which is supposed to cause the paved streets of Paris. Instead of the more classic editions with applied Arabic digits, the hours are cut into the green, out -of -the -counter disc, and the railway minutes are replaced by points with contemporary, more reserved look.
The round aperture at 9 a.m. houses the day/night indicator, and the luminescent dauphine lessons and the tiny hands are accompanied by a discrete skeletonized second mal zone. The two rotating and horizontally oriented points show a contemporary grain. The 30-minute counter on the left and the 60-second counter on the right side of the right side shows that the times showed through the diamond-shaped bridge, which serves as a hand. The date window attached with two screws at 6 a.m. has a suitable green background.
The new interchangeable Green Calfskin strap, which was designed by the artistic director Marco Tomasetta, has a food with a card from Paris from 1821, including the Champ de Mars racing route and the Île de la Cité, in which Rieeussec had his workshop.
The showcaseback offers a look at the manufacturer's MB R200, an automatic integrated chronograph movement with a column wheel and vertical coupling. Equipped with two barrels, the electricity reserve is 72 hours and the large 10 -mm balancer bike at 4Hz. The time zone hand developed for travelers and the date can be adapted in both directions thanks to the fast mechanism in both directions. The open rotor is decorated with a creepy de -paris pattern and a Montblanc star and the bridges with Côtes de Genève.
This green edition of the Montblanc Star Legacy Nicolas RieeusSec Chronograph joins the permanent collection and sells for retail 8,300 EUR. Further information at montblanc.com.
