First look -the new Bulgari -Octo -Finissimo tourbillon with a green marble number

Incredible, only eleven years have passed since Bulgari contested his first gladiator in the arena of the ultra -thin watches. The Octo Finisimo Tourbillon from 2014 from 2014 was astonished by the world with its shaving thin, record-breaking 1.95 mm tourbillon movement, but also conquered the hearts of many with its seductive Italian look. With ten world records for thinness in just 11 years, the Octo Fineissimo has risen to the podium at lightning speed and reaches the legendary status. Bulgari, which has recently awarded his Roman heritage -and the cornices of his flagship boutique on Via dei Condotti in Rome -with a rare green marble dial, a majestic limited edition of 30 parts, with a rare green marble dial.

After his debut from 2014, the Octo Finisimo Tourbillon was a platform for ever greater performance for miniaturization and complications. This was equipped with a skeletonized platinum edition in 2017. This was followed by a double record model a year later, which was equipped with an automatic movement. The Octo Finissimo Marble Tourbillon is a combination of technical magic and fascinating architecture and keeps the ultra-Lanic dimensions of its forerunner and has a 4.85 mm thick yellow gold cover with a diameter of 40 mm. The dramatic octagonal and stacked geometry of the housing is highlighted with 110 facets with brushed and polished surfaces.

The green marble used for the dial is known as Verde Alpi (Alpine Grün). It is extracted from quarries in the northwestern region of the Val D'Aosta Valley, which symbolically has a border to Switzerland. Verde Alpi is a valuable Italian marble, which is characterized by its intensive green color and its lighter network of veins. In view of its natural origins and unique axis patterns, no two dials can ever be the same.

Marble was estimated by the old Rome as the ultimate size of the size and was very effective by Bulgari both in his jewelry and clock collections, including the recently published Bulgari watch by Bulgari Bulgari. No newcomer from Marble, a unique edition of the Octo Finisimo Tourbillon for Watch 2023, received an incredible full -mark bales, from dial to case and bracelet.

However, the involvement of marble in an ultra-thin clock represents its own challenges. Although marble appears indestructible, it becomes extremely fragile when it is cut into Hafernnne layers. In order to create the dial, the marble was cut and perforated in slices of only 0.8 mm to deliver the aperture for the flying tourbillon. The tourbillon framed by this imposing marble background carries out its fascinating one -minute rotations. Based on the yellow gold housing, the indices and open hands are gilded.

Driven by the same caliber BVL 268, which was used in the first edition and manufactured at the fully integrated production points of Bulgari in Switzerland, the amount of the movement was determined by the 1.95 mm thickness of the one-minute tourbillon cage. With a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour, the manual movement has a power reserve of 52 hours. The movement, which is visible through the sapphire crystal, is decorated with Côtes de Genève, Peryl, amazed screw heads and rackets and circular satin-requested gears.

The watch is combined with a suitable green alligator leather strap with a polished yellow gold buckle. It is a limited edition of 30 parts and retail for 140,500 EUR (excl. Taxes). Further information at Bulgari.com.
