Introduction – Fears extends its core collection with New Brunswick & Redcliff models

A British watch brand that was founded in Bristol in 1846 and later went bankrupt in 1976. The fears were revived in 2016 by a fear of the sixth generation, which made it one of the oldest family businesses in the UK. The brand is proud of its origins, which can be traced back in its own classically designed collections or by cooperation based in Great Britain. The brand emphasizes the inheritance by taking design information from the past. Today Fears starts three new editions based on models from its core collection, with two Brunswick watches (including a signature Jump Hour Edition) and a Redcliff model that shows the continued development of the Fears Design language.

Entrepreneurial elegance with the New Brunswick 38 Charcoal Rose, expressive styling, textures and mechanical interest with the Brunswick 40.5 Jump Hour barley or sporty and adventurous flair with the Redcli · 39.5 date, there is something for every taste … here is what we know.

The Brunswick 38 Charcoal Rose

This new 38 mm version of the Brunswick (the most celebrated model of the brand) was reinterpreted with an elegant and sophisticated palette. This new edition, which is housed in a short 43 mm steel housing, is defined by the multi-stonal dial, which is inspired by fears of the past. The grain-structured charcoal base indicates a rich, reserved tone, while several pink gold accents give contrast and heat. This rich color is located on the frosted hands and applied markings as well as on the peripheral minute and the small second switch.

This compact version, which is equipped with an onion crown, is engraved with the fears of Cypher, is powered by a hand-talented caliber La Joux-Perret D100 (an alternative to the PeseEUX 7001) to ensure a slim 11 mm profile and to deliver about 50 hours of power reserve. The clock is offered with a selection of a chestnut brown Cordovan leather band or a 5-link stainless steel bracelet. It is price at GBP 3.450 On leather belt and GBP 3.650 on steel bracelet.

The Brunswick 40.5 Jump Hour Gerstecorn

The Brunswick 40.5 Jump Hour is a more complex and original view of the pillow-shaped Brunswick watch and offers mechanical intrigue and a slim design, which is now equipped with a 3D barley pattern on the outer dial, in a silver color, paired with a rich plum varnish disc in the middle that offers contrast. The symmetry of the dial is based on a jump hour at 12 noon and shows the current hour in a large circular aperture. This element is balanced at 6 a.m. by a brushed and slanted plate into the barley pattern, which bears the fear name. A single hand in the middle shows the minute, which leads to a graphic and slim clock.

Under the dial, the Christopher Ward JJ01 module, which is located on a Sellita SW200, is an automatic movement that provides an immediate bump every sixty minutes. This new style is located in the classic pillow-shaped Brunswick cover with 40.5 mm and made of polished and brushed steel. It can be worn on a color-coordinated plum alcantara strap or an optional 5-link stainless steel bracelet. It is price at GBP 4.250 On leather belt or GBP 4.450 on steel bracelet.

The redcli · 39.5 date it

It for endurance specification … Fears also introduce a more sporty, more contrasting and more structured version of its all-rounder model, the Redcli US, which is now equipped with a hardened, frowned steel case with black DLC elements-on the bezel, caseback, buckle and crown. This rather compact 39.5 mm model offers superior resilience with water resistance of 150 m and a structured FKM rubber belt. Also new in this model is the dial with a strong texture and multi-stage layout, thanks to a matt black-blacked deer and a shaped Super Luminova hour. In contrast to energetic pops of fat orange, the black sound stands on the tiny route and the second time. Inside is the automatic movement of La Joux-Perret G100 with 68-hour current reserve. It is price at GBP 3.350.
