Trust Moser when you enjoy a pun if you select the name for the color of the dial. Known as Saumon Fumé in French, the name kills two birds with a stone by obtaining the sound and technology for creating the Fumé digit sheet (Fumé). Like the salmon streamliners, the dial is decorated with a vertical brushed finish (handle), a technique that constantly changes the tonalities of the dial.

The dial ranges from warm amber to chocolate and copper and houses the essential ads of an eternal calendar with a characteristic Moser minimalism. The central leaf hour and the tiny hands are accompanied by a small pointer to display the month. The snail and painted small second switch is located at 6 a.m. A large date window at 3 a.m. (immediately changes at midnight), a discrete power reserve indicator at 9 a.m. and indices with a 5n red gold -finish complete the dial. As a function that does not require daily consultations, the Leap Year indicator for the fallback is presented.

The three-part 42 mm white gold housing with a height of 13.1 mm is beautifully finished with alternating polished and brushed surfaces. As in all cases in the high-end family, the fallback and the tabs are curved to improve ergonomics.

From a technical point of view, the hand-wrapped HMC 800 caliber is also remarkable at any time of the day and night with the crown. The double barrel configuration stores powerful for at least seven days. The handmade components are decorated in Haute Horlogerie style, and the pallet fork and the refugee wheel are made of gold.

The smoking salmon with the eternal calendar is paired with a dark brown alligator strap and an 18k snap made of white golden. It sells for CHF 54,000 (excl. Tax). Further information at hmoser.com.
