The Hamilton Khaki Field Collection is one of the cornerstones of the brand and builds on the rough simplicity and reliability of the original soldier clocks produced in the 20th century. Khaki field models have long been known for their uncomplicated functionality, earthy colors and robust constructions. The series has developed into a versatile family from hand wounds of mechanical expenses inspired by Field Watches in World War II, to contemporary automatic models, which combines authenticity. For 2025, Hamilton introduces a new and rather significant development into the line, the Khaki Field Power Reserve Mechanical 40 mm. It is the first Khaki field that contains a power reserve indicator on the dial.

The new Khaki field electricity protection area is presented in a 40 mm steel case, which is almost 12 mm thick, sandblasted to reduce the reflections and to improve the tool observation character. The case is crowned with a sapphire crystal with anti-reflecting coating to ensure durability and readability. The water resistance is evaluated at 50 m, which corresponds to its field -ready (non -sea tables) profile.

The new model is available with a black or white dial with the layout, which feels authentic, and keeps the recognizable Arabic digits of the Khaki, the hands in the military minute and in the syringe in the style of the splash style. Covered with the old radium super luminova, the hands and markers from the vintage charm paired with modern readability. The Power Reserve indicator is positioned at 9 a.m. and outlined in red with “F” for empty and “e”. An inscription at 6 a.m., “Power Reserve 80 hours”, underlines the benefit.

The new Khaki Field Power Reserve is powered by the Hamilton caliber H-23, a hand-produced movement with a Nivachron hair spring that was created by ETA exclusively for Hamilton. It is based on the proven base of ETA 2801-2 (the hand-efficient version of ETA 2824-2), which has experienced the powermatic 80-evolution. The caliber thus offers an 80-hour performance reserve, which is now displayed on the dial thanks to a differential mechanism, which works by friction between its internal components. In order to maintain the reliability under shocks and prevent desynchronization, the caliber contains a sliding spring in the run. This not only synchronizes the display automatically while changing, but also prevents the hard stop of the crown.

The Khaki Field Power Reserve is available with two belt options for each dial color. You can opt for a classic green NATO textile bracelet with brown leather loops and a monastery snap or a three-row stainless steel bracelet with butterfly class. The bracelet has an easyClick system that enables changes-free border changes.
The Hamilton Khaki Field Power Reserve Mechanical 40 mm joins the constant Khaki field collection and is available in four references. The prices are EUR 915 on a strap and EUR 995 on a bracelet. You can find more information at www.hailtonwatch.com.
