Purchase manual – Featherweigh Champions, 5 of the best carbon fiber watches on the market

In the past few weeks we have looked at a whole series of things for our weekly buyer, including several types of materials that are ideal for summer watches. Now that the highlight of the sunshine season is pretty much behind us, it does not blame to turn back to the materials as the topic of choice. Although we aimed at watches that would be perfect under hot conditions, there is no saying that they are less good in colder seasons, right? Against this background, we contact Carbon, with five of the sportiest, slim and downright coolest watches that use carbon in one way or another that are now available on the market!

Tudor Black Bay Chronograph Carbon 25

Tudor solidifies his connections to Formula 1 and the Visa Cash App Racing Bulls team and released the Black Bay Chronograph Carbon 25 at the beginning of this year. If you are based on your strong Black Bay chronograph, it is only natural to use carbon fiber on a watch inspired by motor sports. The case is produced exclusively from the light material and also finds its way to the chronograph -subdials. The dial itself is heavily white with blue details and takes over the colors of the team for this season. A cool grade is the use of carbon slopes for the hybrid leather strap and closes the gap between straps and housings. Only 2,025 are made at a price of EUR 7,400.

Ulysse Nardin Diver (air)

One of the biggest advantages of carbon fibers as a material is the combination of rigidity and low weight, which is useful for watches to create something ultra-robust and light weight. In combination with titanium and nylo film and with an ultra-light skeletal movement you have the spring weight Ulysse Nardin Diver (air). With just 52 grams with the belt, it should be the lightest diver in the world on the market. With the striking diver from UN, it seems to be perfect for both the promenade and the ocean itself. It is not limited to the number, receives orange or white elastic fabric straps with a scratch lock and costs EUR 38,400 EUR.

Longines Ultra-Chronian carbon

At the beginning of the year, Longines surprised us all with a carbon fiber playback of the Ultra-Cool-Ultra-Chron. Although this was done with the rotating bezel of the original of the 1960s and the 2022 -revival model, it kept the retro -good look and has installed a very modern package. The steamed look works well with the shape of the housing, since it combines a carbon fiber base with a solid titanium beetle and a matt black dial. Hiding under a solid titanium case is Longines' Hi-Beat-Kaliber L836.6, which beats at a speed of 36,000 VPH. Installed on a black technical fabric strap with a Titan needle buckle, it is part of the permanent collection and receives for retail EUR 5.540 Including VAT.
