Kollokium, the collective collective founded by Manuel Emch, Barth Nussbaumer and Amr Sindi (The Horophile) in 2020, follows the debut series with a second, fundamentally different object. Project 02 pivots from Project 01's “Pin-Dial” language to a sculptural, topographic dial made of stacked plates housed in a slimmer monobloc case. The start of friends, family, bulls and flippers is limited to 199 pieces.
The case of Kollokium's neo-brutalist approach, made of Cast 316L steel, selected for its shapes and textures that are impractical with traditional milling methods. It's a single visible unit: no separate bezel or fallback, integrated triangular lugs, a valve-style crown and the full project designation “K, PN ° 02” in the flank. The dimensions are compact: 39.5 mm diameter; 5.90 mm without crystal, 12.40 mm with a high box sapphire. Water resistance is 50 m.
Project 02 trades pixel by contour, and the panoramic sapphire crystal rising from the base plane of the dial reveals the three-dimensional build. The dial is composed of 67 individual panels spread across nine layers, stacked and clamped to create flowing, map-like reliefs. Panels are hand-painted: white lacquer infused with green-emitting Super-Luminova in the tendons; Sandblasted metal edges warm silver are baked to catch the light. Twelve individual hour markers are embedded in the pattern. Hour and tiny hands in warm silver transport light block inserts; A fluorescent orange central seconds hand adds a precise visual anchor with the counterweight of the curved triangle.
The watch is powered by La Joux-Perret's automatic G101, which operates at 28,800 vibrations/hour with a 68-hour autonomy. In keeping with the platform's focus on the case and dial, the caliber remains unburned and unexposed. The back of the watch bears a message that may cause seasickness when read; However, there is a fair warning.
The Project 02 is worn on a one-piece elastic textile strap in khaki. The size is tool free via sewn loops. The hook buckle is steel steel and corresponds to the case. The FFF&F edition is limited to 199 pieces, first offered to project 01 F&F and then to existing Collokium owners. Price is CHF 3,333.33 (excl. VAT). The first publicly available variant is planned for Q1 2026 CHF 3,666.66 (excluding VAT).
