Classic watchmaking meets contemporary design in Hamilton's Jazzmaster collection, offering mechanical substance without unnecessary embellishment. With the latest Jazzmaster Open Heart models, not to be confused with the skeleton versions, Hamilton expands the series with a wide range of dial colors in three sizes to satisfy as many customers as possible.
The Open Heart concept is not new for Hamilton, but remains one of the most coherent implementations in the barrier-free Swiss segment. Rather than opening the dial just for effect, the Jazzmaster Open Heart is designed to invite the wearer into the mechanics; It is a daily reminder that a mechanical watch is a living object and encourages further discovery of how it works or simply an appreciation of the mechanical tradition.

The new Jazzmaster Open Heart collection includes references in 36mm, 40mm and 42mm to cover different wrists and preferences. All versions share the same stainless steel case architecture with brushed finishes and polished accents for an understated yet sophisticated look. The thickness ranges from 10mm to just over 11mm depending on the size, so the watch sits comfortably while maintaining enough presence for everyday wear. A sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating protects the dial and the watch is rated for 50m water resistance, sufficient for both formal and casual occasions.

On the dial, Hamilton continues to use his characteristic open-heart opening, which reveals the balance wheel and some other moving components. It is not a complete skeleton, nor does it pretend to be one; It is an opening that does not violate symmetry or legibility.
New dial finishes introduce smoky gradients with silver, gold, deep blue, turquoise and brown variants to give different personalities across the range. Applied indices and faceted hands treated with Super-LumiNova ensure clarity in low light conditions. Tonal changes in the textures reward closer inspection. Feel the serenity when you decide to spend time with it.

All Jazzmaster Open Heart models are powered by Hamilton's H-10 automatic movement (Powermatic 80), which is based on the ETA C07.111 and in turn on the ETA 2824. It operates at 21,600 vibrations per hour, offers an 80-hour power reserve and is designed for reliability and everyday use. The Nivachron coil spring increases resistance to magnetism, temperature fluctuations and shock. An exhibition caseback allows a view of the movement, the workmanship of which is carried out in an industrial but honest manner in line with the positioning of the watch.

Depending on the reference, the Jazzmaster Open Heart is sold on a five-row stainless steel bracelet with folding clasp or on leather straps ranging from patinated calfskin to pure white leather. The collection is part of Hamilton's permanent catalogue; Some references are already available, some will appear in May 2026. Prices start at CHF 920 for a 36mm Jazzmaster Open Heart; The 40mm and 42mm models start at CHF 995 and go up to CHF 1,075 depending on whether you choose between a leather strap or a steel bracelet.
