Introducing the Audemars Piguet Code 11.59 with automatic flying tourbillon

In recent years, Audemars Piguet has significantly developed the Code 11.59 collection, turning it into a serious platform for contemporary haute horlogerie. For 2026, the brand introduces a new interpretation of the Audemars Piguet Automatic Flying Tourbillon Code 11.59, now with an ivory signature dial and a sophisticated mix of white gold and black ceramic.

The familiar 41mm x 11.8mm thick Code 11.59 case maintains its proportions while the contrasting materials remain a key feature. The bezel, lugs and caseback are made of 18k white gold, while the faceted case center is made of black ceramic. As with all Code 11.59 models, the complexity of the construction is easy to underestimate, and finishes include alternating brushed surfaces, polished bevels and sharp transitions, finished by hand, including ceramic. There is a double domed sapphire crystal above the case.

The dial color is new but not the texture. As of 2023, the Code 11.59 signature pattern has become one of AP's most recognizable modern dial designs. Developed with guilloché artist Yann von Kaenel, it features concentric circles hand-engraved and finished with PVD coloring. Here the pattern is in a sophisticated ivory tone, offering a softer, warmer expression than the dramatic black onyx version. An azure ivory inner bezel frames the dial, while a black outer rim visually connects to the ceramic center case, creating a strong balance. A rose gold rim surrounds the opening of the flying tourbillon at 6 o'clock; The hands and applied indices match the tone.

The watch is powered by the automatic caliber 2950, which was first introduced in 2018 and is now a cornerstone of AP's range of flying tourbillons. The regulating organ is visible through both the dial and the sapphire crystal back. The movement operates at 21,600 vibrations per hour and offers a power reserve of 65 hours. Visible through the back, the caliber features sophisticated craftsmanship, an openwork rotor and a clean, modern construction in keeping with the contemporary aesthetic of the Code 11.59 line.

The watch is worn on a black alligator leather strap and closes with a white gold three-leaf folding clasp. The Audemars Piguet Code 11.59 automatic flying tourbillon with ivory dial joins the permanent collection. Price is upon request, but we assume it will closely match the Black Onyx variant (146,700 CHF excl. taxes).
